Dear Avni,

You’re almost midway through your second course and already learning so many new things. Hope you’re having fun too πŸ™‚
This is excellent work. So many stars for you πŸ’«πŸ’«πŸ’«πŸ’«πŸ’«πŸ’«πŸ’«πŸ’«πŸ’«πŸ’«

Dear Parent,
This song is inspired by the song Doe A Deer from an english movie called Sound of Music. A child singing this song well is a sign that she has befriended the notes now and is able to sing a melody which employs the different exercises she has been learning so far.

From here on you will see how we focus a lot more on the sur and various exercises. These are building a great foundation to learn any song of any language or genre.

Please see our point wise feedback below:
Confidence and Independence – good
Understanding of the concept or exercise – good
Singing/ Pitching – good*
Rhythm – excellent
Overall control (volume, breath etc) – excellent
Pronunciation/ recollection of lyrics – excellent

Notes: Avni is singing the song correctly (except) maybe the NI line; but we’d encourage her to listen to the base note of every line more carefully; before you sing the line try to sing/cop that note more accurately so that the line you sing follows from there. We don’t want to confuse you too much, so just ensure to listen to the starting note well and try to sing from there. You can even pause the video and try to repat the notes a few times, before you sing the line.
This is to ensure that she is able to match her singing to the same pitch as the reference given.

Look forward to hearing more from Avni.
