Youβre almost midway through your second course and already learning so many new things. Hope youβre having fun too π
This is good work. So many stars for you π«π«π«π«π«π«π«π«π«π«
Dear Parent,
This song is inspired by the song Doe A Deer from an english movie called Sound of Music. A child singing this song well is a sign that she has befriended the notes now and is able to sing a melody which employs the different exercises she has been learning so far.
From here on you will see how we focus a lot more on the sur and various exercises. These are building a great foundation to learn any song of any language or genre.
Please see our point wise feedback below:
Confidence and Independence – excellent
Understanding of the concept or exercise – excellent
Singing/ Pitching – good*
Rhythm – excellent
Overall control (volume, breath etc) – excellent
Pronunciation/ recollection of lyrics – excellent
Notes: In both rounds, Meera has switched the scale at the halfway mark (line PA onwards) – kids usually self-adjust this way, when they start too low or too high; Nothing to worry other than simply practising WITH Tootly cues (the starting note of every line, and singing a bit more cautiously..after a few practices, she should be able to sing steadily in the same scale even on her own.
