This is excellent work, Tootly and the Caterpillar are so proud of you!
Dear Parent,
You may have noticed how the children are now learning the notes behind the familiar exercise songs. This will help in internalising pitch and musical value of notes. That in turn helps them to sing any combination they may encounter in songs they learn even on their own.
Prapti has done both exercises well. Please see our point wise feedback below:
Confidence and Independence – excellent
Understanding of the concept or exercise – excellent
Singing/ Pitching – excellent
Rhythm – excellent
Overall control (volume, breath etc) – excellent
Pronunciation/ recollection of lyrics – excellent
Notes: This is not an easy task – we hope you enjoy and appreciate the musical knowledge Prapti is gaining. As she showed us earlier, knowing the notes also helps us play the song on an instrument!
Prapti has sent the caterpillar but not Mountain sargam – could you please record it when possible next and email it to [email protected]? Thank you.
Thank you for sending the Mountain exercise too, Prapti. You have done this very well too. Excellent job. Here are some mountains for you! 🏔️🏔️🏔️
Note: If you feel your voice is straining when you reach the high part of any song, come back down to SA, then try to sing a bit lower and now start from this new LOWER SA.
